Synthetic Discovery Focus
Human scFv and VHH discovery workflows designed around drug-discovery-oriented library logic.

Mission
Who We Are
DuneX Biosciences helps teams discover and optimize antibody binders using synthetic yeast display libraries, FACS-based selection, and sequence-verified clone recovery.
Human scFv and VHH discovery workflows designed around drug-discovery-oriented library logic.
Controlled selection pressure, expression-aware gating, and measurable enrichment across rounds.
Sequence-verified clone panels, clear ranking, and practical recommendations for the next experiment.
Facility & Instrumentation
Our Hayward lab supports yeast display discovery with flow-based selection, core molecular workflows, and practical QC checkpoints that help teams track campaign progress.
Bio-Rad S3e cell sorter for flow-based selection and enrichment readouts.
Basic molecular biology, yeast display handling, protein preparation, and clone recovery workflows.
NGS diversity checks, round-by-round enrichment tracking, and sequence-aware clone review.

Compliance & Confidentiality
Discovery work often starts before public disclosure. DuneX keeps project setup, communication, and data handling aligned around confidentiality from the first discussion.
Confidential project details can be scoped after an NDA is in place.
Client materials, project records, and sequence files are organized with project-specific separation.
Operational coverage is maintained for client-facing discovery work.
Retention and handoff practices can be aligned during project setup.
Our History
DuneX has grown from platform concept to operational discovery partner through focused library design, facility buildout, and client-facing project work.
A concise view of the scientific path behind DuneX Biosciences.

Bruce Huang spent his undergraduate studies exploring yeast biology, working under Bonita Brewer and Matt Kaeberlein. He then investigated tyrosine kinase signaling in Jonathan Cooper's lab at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. During his Master's and PhD at McGill University under Morag Park, he investigated the structural mechanisms of Met deregulation in cancer. After gaining experience in big pharma, he founded DuneX Biosciences to tackle unmet needs in antibody discovery and protein engineering for biotech teams.
