🔬 Research Associate – Functional Genomics / Antibody Discovery

DuneX Biosciences, based in Hayward, East Bay Area of San Francisco, is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support CRISPR functional genomics and yeast display antibody discovery programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CRISPR knockout / activation screens and FACS-based assays.
  • Conduct molecular cloning, lentivirus packaging, and cell transduction.
  • Assist in yeast display antibody selections and analysis.
  • Document results and collaborate with senior scientists on data interpretation.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture or molecular cloning.
  • Experience with CRISPR, FACS, or antibody work preferred.

  • Location: Hayward, CA (East Bay Area)
  • Type: Contract-Part time ($45/ hour, 20 hours / week)
  • Start Date: Immediate / Flexible
  • Compensation: Competitive + benefits
